I purchased an EasyCard with 400 TWD pre-loaded. After arriving at Taoyuan Airport, I planned to take the MRT to Taoyuan High Speed Rail Station and then the THSR to Tainan, so I booked the THSR before leaving the country. I underestimated the time it would take to board the THSR at Taoyuan High Speed Rail Station from Taoyuan Airport, so I was pretty close. However, since my EasyCard was already loaded, I didn't have to worry about topping it up before boarding the MRT, and I made it in time for the THSR. The only thing I could say is that the map showing the location of the card pick-up counter was confusing, so I asked a local, but they didn't know where it was, and it took a while for them to find it. The pick-up process was smooth, and I was able to pick it up in about 3 minutes after showing my voucher.Trip.com picks
