I highly recommend! It’s more than a cooking class! It’s an experience to see a beautiful farm in the mountains and take walks among the farm plants, the vines and the animals. So much more than grapes. We danced, we ate, we drank homemade wine! 5 hours of feeling great you will love it. Pro tip, get a driver! The roads are steep and you will need a sober dedicated driver.★

It was a lovely day out with a bit of history about the farm and the local farming practices used on the island, such as collecting eggs and exploring the vineyards and farming areas around the farm, learning about the olive trees, and the vineyard trees fo different fruits that we got to sample some of the grapes and pomegranate that were growing strongly. We had a traditional Naxian meal after the lovely walk through the farm, having the group we were with process the ingredients and chat and enjoy the family hospitality.
We loved the meal we had and enjoyed the time we spent there. The trip was just over 4 hours, and it flew by.
The hosts sent over the recipes for us to try at home after the day, which we plan to make soon.★

A great day trip to Naxos famous sights in the north of the island. Everything was well planned, transportation comfortable. The guide provided us with much interesting and entertaining information on backgrounds, history and mythology. The driver made a great job on Naxos exceptional roads. Highly recommendable! The tour and cooking class were so much fun! Nikos does a great job of showing how his farm works and explaining the processes that come along with harvesting their olives. The cooking class was amazing. Nikos makes sure that everyone hears and understands what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, while also keeping it fun and light. If you’re planning to have dinner after this tour, I’d schedule a very late dinner due to the immense amount of absolutely delicious food they serve you. You won’t leave hungry!
