Reviews: Nagasaki: One-Day Private Guide Tour (Public Transportation)

Our guide Moe was excellent throughout the day ensuring that all our mobility needs were met including minimal use of stairs, and reducing walking due to me having a knee injury. She also located a wonderful Japanese restaurant for lunch and ensured we had a taxi if required. Her English was excellent and she also speaks Spanish plus her native tongue. We visited the gardens, travelled on a tram, visited the bomb museum, plus had time to do shopping. Moe was knowledgeable throughout and very pleasant. She made the day and the trip.

Reviews: Kumamoto Castle & Aso Crater Exploration, Kusasenri Horseback Riding, Depart from Fukuoka/Kumamoto

The meeting point was right by the Starbucks at the east-shiroku exit of Hakata Station, and we departed right on time. Some tourists overslept and didn't even wait. They were very punctual. The bus was in excellent condition, with plenty of air conditioning. The guide was very welcoming. Kumamoto Castle and Mount Aso were both great. Despite the heat, Kumamoto Castle was worth visiting; it's air-conditioned and offers a panoramic view from above. There were also many delicious dishes on the first floor. The horse meat fried cakes were delicious, and the limited-edition watermelon soda was very quenching. Due to Mount Aso's active season, we couldn't get the bus to our nearest viewing location, which was a shame. The ice cream on the mountain was delicious and worth trying. The set lunch menu was also good, though a bit pricey up there. The air was nice, and walking on the grass was much cooler than at the foot of the mountain.
