Our top experience in Munnar. The day was filled with stunning landscape, plant and traditions discovery a yummy picnic on a river bench (alone in the World) and all the fabulous explanation of Nagu. Chatting to him and learning through him the Keralite culture was so moving. Of course I almost forgot - the wild elephant sight!★

We took amazing adventures tours cab, we visited some view points, mattepettu dam, I would say it is must visit, do not miss the speed boat ride, amazing view which we can’t cover otherwise.
Big big No to any spice garden, you can visit but don’t buy from them as they will charge more from customers and give 30 percent cut to the driver.
Elephant ride, your cab driver gets cut.★

Our trip around munnar was truly unforgettable. Mani Shallam, the centre guy in our photo infront of his 4WD , picked us up from the meeting point. From the moment we started the journey, he was able to understand what we'd like and show us what is the best of the tour.
He pays alot of attention to details and does things for you even before you ask And let's you relax, Since we didn’t know the local language , Mani was our go to for everything—he arranged our tickets, food, and directed us across local shops.
He took us to an elephant ride, then to the spice and flower garden (he bought the tickets himself), then to the tea factory (again got the tickets for us), and then to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, the tea gardens, and finally to Top Station. The trip was remarkable as our guide was very upfront about the experience and was very accommodating to change.
I reside in Mumbai and the climate here is wonderful ( 22 April 2025).
After completing our tour, on the way back, he asked if we need anything else. My gf wanted to buy a saree, so he took us to one of the best shops for handloom :Kerala sarees. She ended up buying 3 of them—they were absolutely stunning!!
I will never forget this experience in my life. The person, the hospitality, the care, the love, and the peace you get here—it’s all refreshing. I honestly feel glad, There’s still so much more to explore, and I'm very much looking forward to it

We had a wonderful time with Mithun - he was prompt for pick up in the morning and very informative throughout the day. Also quite the photographer! It was a long day but we were very comfortable in the AC car and learning about the area. Unfortunately we didn't see any elephants but we thoroughly enjoyed our day and chatting with Mithun.★

My wife and I had a great time on an all day tour with Ganesh. He made it clear right away that everything would be on our schedule, so we could stop and take pictures wherever we wanted and spend as much or as little time as we wanted at any one attraction. We really liked that aspect of the tour. Ganesh shared interesting information with us about the local culture, plant life, and agriculture. We saw some epic waterfalls while driving around in his awesome jeep. He spotted langur monkeys while driving so we pulled over for a while and watched them jumping through the trees. He also spotted some giant squirrels.
We enjoyed sharing tea and cookies (what was the name of those cookies?!) with Ganesh while sitting next to tea fields that look like a desktop background. It was a necessary “pick me up” in the middle of an enjoyable but long tour.
The hotel where we ate our afternoon/early evening meal was superb. Great food.
The end of the tour is a stop near a watering hole for elephants. Since they are wild you can’t say when or if they will come, so it ends up being a waiting game where the guest decides how long they are willing to wait. I was quite tired by the end of the day, and only waited about an hour and then wanted to leave. Ganesh reiterated that we were on our own schedule, so the choice about leaving or staying and waiting for the elephants as long as we wanted was completely up to us. We decided to leave and the elephants ended up coming after we left. But even when we left, he told his friend to let him know if the elephants showed up within 10-20 after leaving so he could turn the jeep back around so that we could see the elephants. World class customer service. Thank you Ganesh!
