What a wonderful variety of the best of the Hobart area! From the Mt. Field National Park forest to the Bonorong Sanctuary and finally the summit of Mt. Wellington we were treated to experiences we could not have accessed on our own without a great deal of driving and effort. Thankfully we had an expert driver who kept us moving but gave us plenty of time to immerse in each location.

For Mt. Field the description said an easy hike, I would not call two sets of 200+ stairs easy. Our guide was very knowledgeable but sometimes started his talk before the slower people arrived. MT. Field was beautiful, amazing flora. Bonorong was well worth the trip. We were able to see most of the animals and their staff was very informative. We got a very windy and chilly day on Mt. Wellington. Beautiful views, interesting history.
