Total surfing newbies were excited to get wet! The teachers from Essaouira Watersports were patient, helpful, fun, energetic, and knew their stuff! I could comfortably, as a parent, feel that my child was safely in good hands with those who were excited to share their love of surfing with him. I was delighted to see my son's confidence grow, and by the end of the 2-hour session, he had a deeper appreciation for the skill involved in the sport and was very proud that he managed to get up on the board a few times! **Wetsuit included. Bring a towel and shoes that are easy to get in and out of for the short walk to beach**

The spot is magnificent. Beautiful waves for surfers and wind for kitesurfers! The staff is very friendly, attentive, and the instructors' advice is invaluable. Everything is provided at the club: changing rooms, showers, lockers; you can leave your wetsuits, harnesses, etc. on site because the storage is securely locked at the end of the day. Next door, there's a pretty café-restaurant, shaded or sunny, depending on your tastes. The food is good and the atmosphere relaxing. I'll be back!

The whole team gave us a very warm welcome and helped us progress, whether we were building on our existing skills or were beginners. The instructors are fantastic.
