Great experience! They don’t just take you to big, commercial wineries. You get to see smaller or older historic wineries. Great guide/translator Miguel! He was on time, spoke multiple languages, studied the profess of wine making, and very friendly. great wine, and amazing lunch at Santa Rosa winery, over 100 years old! Beautiful cellar and dining area.

I enjoyed the tour. For solo travelers, it's interesting to learn some historical facts during the trip to Punta. They also give you tips on other places to visit in Montevideo, where to eat, and what you can't miss. Marcela and Juan were great throughout the tour, attentive, friendly, and punctual. Marcela also sent us a summary of recommendations for places and foods, as well as the most important sites we visited. The bus is excellent quality, picking up and dropping off at or near the hotel (some streets are impossible for the bus to pass through). The service was well coordinated, and the trip was smooth. The value for money was very good. Tours offered by local agencies are much more expensive. If you want/have more time to explore the area on your own, it's best to buy a bus ticket from Tres Cruces to the Punta bus station, which is basically in front of the "Hand" sculpture.
