Reviews: Kyoto in One Day: Amanohashidate, Ine Funaya & Miyama Thatched Village

Yesterday's day trip arrangement was very reasonable. Egan's boat house was very beautiful. It was very happy to take a cruise to feed the seagulls. The scenery of the overpass was especially spectacular. It was also very interesting to take the small cable car. Finally, I went to Meishan Village and it was a very beautiful village. The time was a bit tight. The tour guide Wu Kevin was friendly. The professional and technical skills of the driver have won us more time to play.
Reviews: A one-day tour to the secret place of Kyoto's sea [Amanohashidate cable car overlooking the seagulls, Ine Funaya]

We joined a one-day tour from Kyoto, departing from Kyoto Station at 9:40 AM and returning around 6 PM. The day was incredibly fulfilling. The waters of Amanohashidate were crystal clear, and the Ine Boathouse was ancient and unique. Our tour guide, Cui Haihua, spoke both Chinese and Korean, and provided detailed explanations. The itinerary was well-organized, and the guides made the trip relaxing and enjoyable. Highlights: The cable car and boat ride are a must-try; it's a worthwhile experience.

A one-day trip to the suburbs of Kyoto. The journey is long, and it is worry-free to join a tour group. Guide Lai is very professional and great. I heard a lot about Kyoto's history and local culture. It was very good. This trip is worth it 👍🏻

I was a little hesitant when I first signed up for the tour, as it was a large group of over forty people, and I was worried it would be chaotic. However, thanks to our tour guide Hu's excellent planning, arrangements, and helpful reminders, and his consideration for the tourists, we were well-liked and cooperative, making today's day trip a wonderful experience. It was a worry-free, reassuring, and enjoyable trip. Thank you again, Tour Guide Hu!

This itinerary was excellent. I wanted to spend more time at the Ine Boat House, but other itineraries seemed to offer less time there than Amanohashidate. This time, we spent roughly the same amount of time at both Ine Boat House and Amanohashidate, totaling a little over four hours. The round trip, including the approximately 50-minute drive from Ine Boat House to Amanohashidate, took about five and a half hours, with the actual visit taking about four and a half hours. Overall, the itinerary was very well planned and much less strenuous than going on my own. Throughout the trip, I experienced no discomfort whatsoever. The tour guide was incredibly attentive to us. There was even a foreigner in a wheelchair on the bus, and the guide was very considerate of their experience. Instead of walking from the parking lot, she drove the entire bus to the vicinity of the attraction. After the tour, our tour guide chatted with each of us individually to discuss the day's activities and ask if we had any complaints. I was very satisfied. I was also quite curious about life in Japan, as I might consider living there someday. The guide gave us a lot of advice, saying that Japan has a very relaxed lifestyle and strongly recommended that we visit often. I told her the place was so beautiful that four hours wasn't enough, and she suggested that if we knew each other well in advance, we could take their bus there and back the next day. I thought this was excellent advice, and I highly recommend their tour if you want to visit Ine Boat House but don't want to travel independently. Their service is outstanding. And the price is incredibly cheap! It includes round-trip bus transportation, a guided tour, and they even helped us buy the tickets, which were also very affordable. They didn't overcharge us for the boat and cable car rides, saving us the time and effort of buying and booking tickets ourselves. It was incredibly convenient and didn't waste any time. Going independently would involve taking public transportation and spending a lot more time waiting. I've almost forgotten the tour guide's name. She was from Jiangsu. She added me through Divergent, but I don't know if that's their company name.
Reviews: One-Day Trip from Osaka/Kyoto: Amanohashidate + Ine Funaya (Cable Car Ride & Seagull Feeding)
Guest User2025-09-25
This route is beautiful, but the only downside is that it's quite far. It takes about three hours from Osaka and two hours from Kyoto, so a day trip would definitely be a quick tour. Joining a tour group is more convenient, and the ability to get off in both Kyoto and Osaka is a great bonus! I was very satisfied with our guide, Hu Jun. His explanations of the attractions were clear and thorough. He sent us the locations of each attraction the day before and on the day of the tour. He even used WeChat Line to distinguish between groups from different regions. His service was attentive and highly praised!
