We lived the Mindo Ziplines tour! The staff and guides were wonderful. Although it was a little hard to find, we had a wonderful experience. I’d definitely recommend it.

A full day tour to Mindo rainforest with Pato from ‘Ecuador a color’. A fabulous day in all respects. Who would’ve thought that in one day we could’ve fed hummingbirds out of our hand, walked in the rainforest to a beautiful waterfall, seen the lovely Mindo volcanic crater, seen how chocolate is made and viewed hundreds of different orchids. A superb and knowledgeable guide, a lovely guy with an excellent car. Strongly recommend recommended.

My friend and I extended her work trip and decided to book a private tour in the Mindo Cloud Forest. Best decision we made. Mindo is unreal, but our guide Wilson is what made it special. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, fun to be around, and has this magical ability to spot wildlife we would’ve walked right past. He took us to the most magical places as well. What started as “let’s do something outdoors” turned into laughing a lot, learning a ton, and having multiple wow moments. Two middle-aged moms on a spur of the moment trip, muddy shoes, big smiles, and a genuinely life-changing experience. Highly recommend the private tour—and if you get Wilson, you’re in excellent hands

Our guide for the day was Christian. He was AWESOME! He provided us with so much information about their history, volcanoes, cultures, etc. The zip lining was way more than expected. There were 10 lines and they were so accommodating when I was slow climbing to the next one. The chocolate tour is a must as well. You get to experience so many things from preparing to tasting and even a chocolate mask! And of course the butterfly and hummingbird farms put such a smile on my face. Getting to have them land on you and see them up close was unbelievable. Everyone should try and do this tour and hope you get Christian as your guide!


