The driver/guide Jed is very friendly with heart. He is kind to everyone. This is a bus tour and I prefer bus than small van for more spacious. We enjoy ourselves. The 55- min lunch is rather rush as the restaurant we picked is slow in service (I suppose similar situation in other restaurants).★

The guide was very helpful in providing information and recommendations. The transport vehicle was only average in terms of comfort for at least three hours on the road (knee and/or leg pain, and the space was far too cramped compared to the row of seats in front). The itinerary was rushed, given the number of stops planned; perhaps one stop could be removed to allow for more downtime during the excursion.★

Gourmet Getaway Tours – Hunter Valley
What an incredible day in the Hunter Valley with Gourmet Getaway Tours! We enjoyed beautifully curated wine pairings at three locations, each one better than the last.
The experience was elevated even further by Jimmy’s fantastic chef-prepared food—including salmon sushi tacos, delicate scallops, Wagyu beef sliders, fresh asparagus, a wonderful selection of cheeses, and a perfectly finished crème brûlée. Every dish was thoughtfully paired with outstanding wines, including Semillon, Shiraz, and Rosé, allowing each flavor to really shine.
Everything was seamless, relaxed, and indulgent—the perfect way to experience Hunter Valley. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great wine, amazing food, and a truly memorable tour. 🍷✨★

The Blue Mountains are beautiful. Yella was very knowledgeable and avoided most of the crowds. The Evans Lookout hike was especially enjoyable. Only downside was a confusion over whether lunch was included.
