Although a bit pricey, it's still highly recommended! The driver is reliable and looks like Bruce Willis. He was very punctual in picking up passengers at the agreed location. The entire trip was scenic, with multiple stops for rest and photos, making it so much easier than driving myself!

Andrew our coach driver was very professional He made the long journey really interesting with his knowledge of the region. A great day both driving through magnificent landscapes followed by a beautiful cruise through Milford Sound. The staff of our vessel Pride of Milford were also helpful and the captain enriched the tour with interesting information. Loved the entire experience.

We departed from the Queenstown meeting point at 7:30 AM and didn't arrive at the Milford Sound ticket office until just after 1:00 PM, stopping at several scenic spots for about ten minutes for photos. The boat trip lasted about two hours before heading back to Queenstown. In total, we spent over nine hours on the bus, which was incredibly uncomfortable – only the brave could make it! The driver spoke Chinese and was very nice! I wasn't particularly impressed by the fiordland scenery.

We enjoyed a coach ride through beautiful countryside on our way to Milford Sound. Our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out things of interest along our route stopping for overlooks and points of interest. When we got to Milford Sound we took a two hour boat cruise through the sound and had a nice hot buffet lunch. The waterfall on the cruise was a highlight! Prepare that you will be in the coach the majority of the trip but with the beautiful views it will feel like it goes quickly!
