This tour was beyond fabulous. Our tour guide, David, was so knowledgeable and well versed on anything and everything we threw at him from the flora and fauna to the history of the country and the people who have inhabited it, lo, these last 65,000 years. He went out of his way to tailor the tour to the specific interests of the group including making sure I got to see some kangaroos, for which, I am forever grateful. Southern Cross is a tightly run ship and the customer service went above and beyond to make sure our experience was superlative. Oh and the sights were extraordinary! Highly recommend.

To allow a little more time to go to the pier to exchange ferry tickets and meal vouchers, the staff is quite friendly, but the movement is slightly slower. It is quick to arrive by boat, but be sure to keep up with the time of the boat, because there is a boat every 1 hour, if you miss one you have to wait an hour, from Surfers Paradise to Hota takes 5 minutes boat ride is very fast.To get there you can go to the attic exhibitionist bar to eat. A$30 meal voucher, the restaurant food quality is very high, the staff service attitude is very good, very happy.

our guide was fabulous and knowledgeable. Marketing and Declan in particular was awful. He did not get back to us for three days. we sent multiple texts with no response. We had a thread of texts that went unanswered. The day of tour we had no idea if we were going anywhere. They said we're canceled because it was only my wife and I but it never showed canceled in our app.
