I used this service for the following routes: Taipei-Tainan, Tainan-Chiayi, Chiayi-Tainan, and Tainan-Taipei. I was able to book online the first time, but after that I couldn't book online and had to book at the counter. Please be careful! I bought this for my trip to Taiwan. It's a round-trip train ticket (actually a token) from Taoyuan Airport to Taipei. I showed the voucher at an exchange counter near Taoyuan Airport Station and they exchanged it for the ticket. So, I didn't need to speak any language, which was great... I also received a coupon at that time, but I didn't know how to use it, so I didn't use it.

I bought a Fun Pass, but the biggest regret was that the museums were closed on Mondays… Don't try to do everything in one day; I recommend getting a 2-day or 3-day pass to get around. I got my money's worth since I bought the 1-day tickets with a buy-one-get-one-free offer, but otherwise, it probably would have been cheaper to just buy tickets separately.
