Had a great day trip to Cinque Terre and Pisa with our tour guide Nathan Smith! He was lovely, friendly, knowledgeable. He also shared with us his photography expertise and also entertained us with fun facts and comedy SNL skits during the bus ride. Cinque Terre was beautiful. The weather was really hot when we went there so we appreciated that the hike at Manarola was not too long but comfortable and it got us to the scenic photo worthy spots. Also appreciated the lovely meal recommended by our tour leader at Monterosso. At the end of the tour Nathan also suggested some fun and popular food options back in Florence that were really great to explore and experience. Overall enjoyed the tour very much and thank you City Wonders Team for executing a wonderful beach getaway.

Two half-day tours of Chiyangdi wineries, far away, take a lot of time by car. The wines of the winery have good and bad, the wine market is difficult to see sales, the price of the wine is acceptable, in addition to the wine, there are olive oil and Barsamic vinegar to buy, the quality is also good, can watch the vineyard up close, very special experience. Depart at 2:30 noon and return to Florence city about 6:30. Overall very good, recommended to people who want to try Chiyondi wine.

Such a great tour! Started in the museum at 9am and made our way into the cathedral at around 10am. The tour came with little radios and earpieces so we can hear the guide. We wanted to do the cathedral portion first however it worked out better being in the museum as we understood a lot of the history behind the sculpture’s, biblical references, Donatello, Michelangelo, the building of the cathedral/baptistry and Ghiotti’s role in constructing the dome. Knowing this made it more special being in the cathedral seeing these things in perspective. We got in to the cathedral 15 mins before it was open to the public and was able to climb up to the terraces with an amazing view of the city (unobstructed), it was very hot up there but worth it! The climb may be a little steep and narrow at times but nothing compared to climbing up Ghiotti’s bell tower (bell tower tickets included in price but not in the tour) which we were able to do after the tour. Great experience thank you!
