Velarde of Mazatlán Van Tours (mazatlanvantours.com)—a tour guide extraordinaire who would redefine our travel experience. Our first encounter unfolded at the airport, where he stood, a beacon of hospitality, holding a sign with our names. His smile was genuine, his demeanor warm.
