Despite a minor hiccup during our layover in Phoenix, our journey was safe and unforgettable. We embarked on our escapade, fueled by anticipation and the promise of adventure. Our ground transportation arrangements were in place, thanks to an acquaintance who assured us we were in good hands. Little did we know that these words would resonate so profoundly. We met Jose L. Velarde of Mazatlán Van Tours (mazatlanvantours.com)—a tour guide extraordinaire who would redefine our travel experience. Our first encounter unfolded at the airport, where he stood, a beacon of hospitality, holding a sign with our names. His smile was genuine, his demeanor warm. I had no problems connecting in Mexico City. There were some minor connection issues during the bus ride to Puebla, and the signal was unstable in the outskirts of Puebla, but it wasn't too bothersome. If you're staying in Mexico City, there are absolutely no problems.
