It was June, but the weather was so hot and humid that walking was almost unbearable.
I bought a ticket for the "Horikawa Cruise," a boat tour of the moats surrounding Matsue Castle.
There are several boarding points, which is very convenient.
Because the area is covered by moats, the boat sometimes takes a long detour from the starting point to the destination.
I chose the boat tour as a way to avoid this.
Thanks to this, I was able to stroll around the city without any stress.★

The scenic area is very well developed. You can climb the steps along the stream and waterfall, immerse yourself in the forest, breathe in the fresh air of nature, and experience the cool breeze blowing through the gaps in the air, completing a spiritual purification journey! Due to time constraints, it would have been even more perfect to stay in an eco-friendly villa and enjoy local delicacies.
