Excellent trip. freedom option meant no guide, which meant we could go at our own pace and travel wherever we wanted. initial briefing coveted everything...where to go capsize drill etc. highly recommended

The kayaking trip was one of my best experiences on the South Island. Kayaking was so much fun – even though it was my first time, we were given excellent instructions. I especially loved Mica, our guide. We learned so much about nature, habitats, history/historical figures, wildlife, plants, and culture. It was truly heartwarming to see how connected Mica is to everything and how much joy she brought to sharing it all. The hike back was also easy and beautiful.
