Sergovia & Avilla are well worth a visit. The historic cities are beautifully preserved. The spectacular Aquaduct in Segovia is worth visiting on its own. If you like history & visiting cathedrals, then this is the day tour for you! The Cathedral of Segovia and the St. Teresa Basilica in Avila is among the highlights.
Our bus was full, and so there was quite a large tour group. However, our guide, Arantxa, was excellent. She kept everyone on the tour informed of meeting points as well as a running historic commentary of both Cities. This was a very large tour group for one guide. But Arantxa was very efficient and knowledgeable and answered all questions. Highly recommend this tour.★
