My family and I traveled from Hong Kong to Macau. The trip was great. They offered a menu with drinks and snacks on board. The boat was a bit rocky in the waves, but overall it was great.

The journey from Hong Kong to Macau took a total of one hour. The boat was quite clean, and the scenery was very nice. The only minor drawback was that it might have been going too fast, making me a little dizzy. 😵‍💫

If you're traveling to Macau in the summer, I highly recommend going for a nighttime stroll. The night view is amazing, perfect for taking great videos. Also, watch the musical fountain at the Wynn Palace; it's breathtaking, and they'll often stop there to let you watch.

We booked a day before going to Hong Kong from Shenzen. Once booked the confirmation came through fast. The next day the shuttle service contracted us through WeChat and all the information was sent to us to make sure we are ready. Location, vehicle information, and time for pickup. It was very smooth setup. The driver was there on time and even took pictures of the location for us to show up. He helped us move in the luggage and we were on the way. The drive to Hong Kong from Shenzhen was smooth and took us less than about 1 hour door to door. Excellent service and I would do it again.

The map provided by Ctrip made it easy to find, but it would be even better if the vehicles had directional signs. The whole process involves three buses: the first is from Prince Edward Street to the outlying islands of Hong Kong; the second is via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge to the Macau border crossing; and the third is the bus corresponding to your chosen hotel. Each bus change takes about 10-20 minutes, so be quick if you need to use the restroom. This time, I went to the Grand Lisboa Hotel, and the total time was about 2 hours.


