This morning we enjoyed a wonderful tour of the Old City of Lyon. Toni our guide was very personable, to the point of knowing each of our names and engaging with each guest as we meandered the streets and discovered the hidden gems of the Old City. He was very knowledgeable about the architecture, the history, the personalities and the interplay between all these elements, covering the period from the Roman occupation of Gaul right through to the 21st century. He shared his favourite spaces and anecdotes with humour and genuine enthusiasm and even followed up with a text which provided additional information for dining sightseeing and shopping. We thoroughly recommend this tour!
