I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour. The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor. The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.

Awesome and spectacular tour! Even though it was only have a day, I saw more to the city when I first arrived a week ago! Ms Lan Vi, our local tour guide spoke perfect English and explained in detail the history of this marvellous city! She was very good at her job! The best experience, would definitely come back again!

We have Lyly as our tour guide, she was patient and polite and explained the history of Vietnam and was with us explaining as we went along pick-up on time. The Puppet show is very interesting. We liked it and we had a great time watching the show. Our Dinner cruise was fine. We had the buffet dinner,food tasted good but less food were left on the buffet table when we arrived. Nevertheless,we had our full and enjoyed some entertainment on board and view of the ciry on top deck.


