An incredible day at Mount Ijen made possible by Qim Qim and his team. We were the first to arrive at the blue fire, which allowed us to fully enjoy it and take all the photos we wanted. Then we climbed back up to the top of the volcano to admire the sunrise. The day unfolded perfectly; we were never bothered by crowds despite the large number of tourists. Furthermore, Qim Qim's guide team maintained a consistently positive atmosphere and answered all our questions about the volcano. I highly recommend this experience; he is by far the best guide I've ever had for this kind of adventure!

Wearing a gas mask is essential when climbing Mount Yizhen because the air here is filled with a strong smell of sulfur. With every step, you can feel the heat and smoke of the volcano, but the scenery is really beautiful. When the smoke dissipates, the scene in front of you really makes you forget all your fatigue.
