Reviews: Las Médulas: Guided Tour of Roman Gold Mine
Guest User2026-10-29
Omar has been fantastic from the very start. he answered all my questions quickly via email and put my mind to rest as the touring company was very new. Omar is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, which made for a great tour. He is a very likeable man, easy to get along with It's not a hard walk and the pace is not fast at all. The scenery is amazing and it is mind boggling how much dirt was removed by hand so they could extract the gold. keep an eye out on the drive up to the tour, spectacular views.

Marta was an exceptional guide. The itinerary was perfect, allowing enough time to see everything at a leisurely pace. And the driver, David, made us feel safe at all times.

Reviews: Lakes of Covadonga and Shrine of Covadonga: Guided and informative route
Guest User2026-10-21
What a wonderful experience! Jesus (our guide) was very knowledgable and above all passionate about his role. There were four of us, and another couple we met on the tour (so we were six in total, he only takes a maximum of 8 passengers), which make the tour intimate. The other passengers were Spanish, however Jesus explained anything that I didn't in English. What a great way to spend the morning/afternoon in Nature and history. 100% recommended!

Reviews: From Cangas de Onis: Covadonga Lakes Guided Day Trip
Guest User2026-09-23
A slightly longer stop at the lakes would have been helpful to reach Lake Ircina more leisurely, especially for older people. It's a shame there wasn't a French-speaking guide; otherwise, everything was perfect, including our guide. We look forward to seeing you again in your beautiful region.
