Reviews: Sloths Watching Tour through Sloth's Territory

We loved our 2 hour tour through the jungle looking for sloths and other animals in their natural habitat! Our tour wound up being a private tour, with just the guide and my family as no one else signed up for the 1pm time slot. Our tour guide, Ivania, was incredibly friendly, skilled, and knowledgeable. As she located sloths for us to view, she also provided facts about the animals and plants in the jungle. She used her telescope to get closer images of the sloths higher in the treetops where they stay. We saw multiple 3-toed & 2-toes sloths, including a baby sloth hanging onto its mom. She was amazing at capturing photos through the telescope using my phone. She also took videos for us and patiently waited for the sloths to move a bit. Although this was a sloth tour, we also got amazing close up views of other jungle creatures and birds. My kids were thrilled to learn there were 2 hanging bridges within the jungle on the tour. This was a fun added surprise. At the end of the tour we were given delicious watermelon to eat. A sloth tour should be one of your experiences in Costa Rica and this tour in particular should be on your go-to list!★

Amazing experience of a lifetime and our guide (Elius) was educational, informative, and excellent! Highly recommend! We saw so many different animals including sloths and had a very close encounter with a baby sloth! This is an excursion I will never forget! Book them today!
