[Kinkaku-ji Temple] The gold-leaf pavilion reflected in the lake interprets the characteristics of the Muromachi period, and the light and shadow of the four seasons are all postcard-worthy.

Product reviews: one-day tour of Kiyomizu Temple in Nara, Kyoto, Japan [9-person small group optional|Hotel pickup|Chinese and English driver guide

The time was too short. We didn't arrive back in Osaka at the designated time (6:30 PM) as part of the program, and the driver and guide had already returned to Osaka at 5 PM! It was such a rush. We arrived at Kiyomizu-dera Temple at 12:35 PM and had to board the bus back to Osaka at 3:35 PM. We went to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, then to Gion, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple (3 hours with meals included). We also visited nearby areas, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple. A half-hour extra would have been perfect.

The tour guide contacted very promptly, the route of the itinerary was reasonable, the choice of attractions was also very representative, very classic, and there was a suitable time to play after the attractions. It is a very nice choice for not familiar with the traffic route and not wanting to bother to do the strategy. Very recommended!

Product reviews: Kyoto Foodie Night Tour
Guest User2025-06-15
We had two amazing guides Chika and Sota who greeted us in a central easy to access place with sparkling sake that Chika selected from the Japanese department store (Daimeru) fresh only in Kyoto. Then we walked through Nishiki market and tried the specialty friend conger eel (not unagi) and learned about the history and current details of market culture. We proceeded to three wonderful izakaya, where the menu is preset and with drink pairings at the recommendation of your guides. Chika is a sake lover and explained the different flavor profiles and also how to drink for maximum enjoyment. Sota also shared experience of Japanese life and customs which was very fulfilling. We proceed to two more izakaya with delicious food and drinks, walking by some of the historic and beautiful sites of Kyoto. Overall the tour was amazing and truly a highlight of our trip. We were so thankful for the guides hospitality, graciousness, and knowledge which enhanced our trip to Kyoto. They also provided excellent recommendations, therefore I highly recommend you schedule your tour as soon as possible. Many thanks to the guides!!
