Many different opportunities to try little bites while learning the insider spots. It's fun and easy to walk the market alone, but much better with Raqel's insight. One of the highlights was the place that has the pure maccha ice cream, which was way more rich and creamy than the typical also-tasty soft serve. Another was a honey-based vendor that I would have walked right by without Raqel. She was a terrific guide. At the end, she even walked us to the meeting point of our next tour!★

A wonderful experience. Our guide walked us through Nishiki market and pointed out the original stalls (there are a lot of touristy stalls now). She bougt a few Japanese sides for us to try with our meal along with meal ingredients accomodating a substitution request. My brother requested tofu instead of chicken in his dish. The cooking class was just us in a kitchen meant for cooking classes. She was an excellent teacher in instructing us through each step of our dishes. I highly recommend this activity.★
