Reviews: Kumamoto Castle & Aso Crater Exploration, Kusasenri Horseback Riding, Depart from Fukuoka/Kumamoto

The meeting point was right by the Starbucks at the east-shiroku exit of Hakata Station, and we departed right on time. Some tourists overslept and didn't even wait. They were very punctual. The bus was in excellent condition, with plenty of air conditioning. The guide was very welcoming. Kumamoto Castle and Mount Aso were both great. Despite the heat, Kumamoto Castle was worth visiting; it's air-conditioned and offers a panoramic view from above. There were also many delicious dishes on the first floor. The horse meat fried cakes were delicious, and the limited-edition watermelon soda was very quenching. Due to Mount Aso's active season, we couldn't get the bus to our nearest viewing location, which was a shame. The ice cream on the mountain was delicious and worth trying. The set lunch menu was also good, though a bit pricey up there. The air was nice, and walking on the grass was much cooler than at the foot of the mountain.

What a lucky day! As a Solotrip member, I had a great experience on this day trip. We visited three or four scenic spots, and the tour guide shared the day's culture and some interesting facts on the bus. It was packed with useful information. Special praise to tour guide Wang Baoyin, he was very nice!

It was a very pleasant trip. Thanks to our guide, Miss Selina, for taking us on a day trip. She was very warm and gentle, and took very good care of us. We even drank Aso milk. Looking forward to our next trip to Kyushu!

Although the itinerary was rushed, our guide, Li, was incredibly kind and enthusiastic. I forgot to check my email when I arrived this morning, so he told me to look for the yellow flags. There are so many of them at Hakata Station, so it's important to remember to check your emails. Although we did a lot of walking, he called a taxi for me when we returned from Takachiho Gorge. Thank you.

When I booked, this place seemed to be the cheapest on every platform I looked online, so much so that I suspected it was a scam right up until the day before our trip! 😂 But after adding the 1,400 yen round-trip bus fee to the crater, it suddenly made sense. Because the attractions are far from us, we're in neighboring prefectures, so it felt a bit like a special forces tour. But thankfully, we had enough time to check in, take photos, and rest. Besides the Takachiho Gorge, which involves some climbing stairs and walking trails, the day was a complete aerobic workout. In Kusasenri, you can try Aso Milk, which boasts a Michelin star. The ice cream is a bit average, though. The tour guide was young and not overly talkative. He explained each attraction, precautions, and meeting times in detail. He also checked the crater's opening hours in advance and collected the round-trip bus fare to save time with the group ticket. The driver was incredibly lively and enthusiastic. 😂 Overall, for the price, there was no pushback and everything was taken care of. You couldn't expect more.

Specially for the Azu volcano helicopter project at their own expense, but the itinerary is actually difficult to arrange the time of the project, can not play at all. The driver, Mr. Takahashi, was very good, and he also took a cherry blossom road, prompting us to take pictures. This trip to Asu volcano landed smoothly, saw a little Tiffany blue, the net red coffee was also drunk, Asu milk was also very good.
