Went to the mines first then onto Auschwitz we didn’t need to queue up at all. The guide was amazing and very informative. Lunch was very nice also (this is optional and cost us €10 each.
The only issue we had was our hotel being changed, u informed the tour guide many times and they said it was arranged however in the morning I had to remind them again, needless to say we were still collected and went on the tour for the day. The driver Martin was also great and super friendly.
All in all a fantastic and informative day was had.★

Didn’t think I’d enjoy this as much as I did. Super engaging, funny, and informative guide Michal made it even more enjoyable. Incredible sculptures carved out of salt. Very cool place. Recommend this trip.★

Highly Recommended tour - great value for money than if we went on our own !!
We’re so delighted we booked Auschwitz- Birkenau & Salt mines tour with Mr Shuttle - Rafael who looked after (driver) was fantastic!!
Based on my research, perfect for our limited stay. Although likely pick up time will be around 5.30am (notified day before) instead of initial 7am, we didn’t mind as Rafael (apologies if we spelt name incorrectly) was punctual and our group were one of the first groups on site then dropped back to hotel earlier about 5.30pm-6pm.
Rafael was so friendly & professional - kept us informed throughout day of our schedule, meeting points, etc to ensure everyone was on time and so accommodating !
Long day but great if you have limited time and highly recommend this tour .. Time passed so quickly for us as we had a wonderful & friendly tour group, passing the time with chatter & laughter !
Due to large number of visitors to Auschwitz then an hour to Birkenau site, our group of 8 from our smaller comfy luxury van, was combined with another larger group (via Mr shuttle) once on-site with qualified tour guide from the memorial site but this wasn’t an issue with us - tour guide (Kathy?) was fantastic - so knowledgeable, shared great insights & still a good size (approx. 20) to hear commentary/navigate way to each site.
Final stop - Salt mines less sombre so perfect way to end day, fabulous (different) on-site guide allocated made it so interesting .. we enjoyed the day thoroughly!
Tips:
1. we may have missed but recommend to pre-order packed lunch option as saves having to queue on-site cafe as gets quite busy.
2. regular toilet stops/personal time to grab a quick bite or souvenirs.
