Choose Cracow were our tour providers for our day trip to the Salt Mines and Auschwitz-Birkenau.
It was great from start to finish. Great communication, the day before we received a message with full instructions, pick up time etc and if we'd like a packed lunch. We chose the lunch option and we were glad we did as it's a long day.
Our driver/guide was excellent, sorted all the tickets and controlled the group well.
Modern, air conditioned mini bus made the journey comfortable.
I highly recommend Choose Cracow to look after you well.★

What a teally good day and experience, really well organised tour , spectacular views of th carvings and underground chambers. The 800 stairs though ensured we got our daily steps in and the calf's and legs had the memory for a few days afterwards. Wear comfy shoes.★

We opted to do Auschwitz/Birkenau and the Salt Mines in one day to save time as we only had 3 days in Krakow.
It’s an early start (we were picked up at 5.45am) dropped back around 16.24. So long but so worth it - and everything went like clockwork. The driver Thomas and the tour guide Jimmy were both excellent and Jimmy’s knowledge and narrative whilst we were at Auschwitz (whilst it’s a harrowing experience) was both considerate and well delivered.
Lots of walking at all places but lots of breaks too and as others had mentioned the packed lunch was fantastic (water cheese/ham roll - chicken pasta salad and a choc wafer bar) this is an excellent value tour considering all that’s included and I highly recommend it.★

This full day excursion allowed us to experience two UNESCO World Heritage sites in one day. The Wieliczka Salt Mine was a fascinating look into the history of an importance of the mine and the Cathedral was an amazing feat of engineering. While the Auschwitz-Birkenau portion tour was an eye opening heart wrenching look into one of the most horrific events in humanity. Touring the camps will haunt me forever, yet it is important we never forget.
What made our tour even more memorable was our tour driver, Hubert. Not only was he one of the most personable drivers I've ever had, he enjoyed teaching me a few Polish phrases. I would definitely take another tour if we could have Hubert again.
