A wonderful and enjoyable experience! Ben was a very attentive guide. We thoroughly enjoyed this day of discovery. We saw proboscis monkeys and monitor lizards. A fantastic experience!

Had a great island hopping experience. The pickup was punctual and everything ran smoothly right on schedule, which made the whole day stress free. Our guide, Mr Ah Hong, was wonderful, patient and very considerate, especially with my mom who had some difficulty walking and getting onto the boats. He made sure she was safe and comfortable the whole time, which I really appreciated. The food was average, but overall the trip was enjoyable and well organised.

My expectations were high, so I was a little disappointed. The journey was long, but the driver's excellent skills saved us a lot of time. I don't know if we didn't choose the right language for the tour guide, but the company sent someone whose Mandarin wasn't very good, so it was a disadvantage for me since my English isn't good. Also, the suspension bridge was under construction and temporarily closed, which should have been mentioned in the itinerary (disappointing). Seeing the Rafflesia today was a memorable and happy experience.

We had a great time on the tour. The tour guides Steve and Jay were very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife in the mangroves and helped us take some wonderful pictures on the beach. Overall, this tour really exceeded my expectations.

I think this is a very worthwhile part of Kota Kinabalu; the fireflies are beautiful, and the tour guide is excellent. Aside from the slightly bumpy ride on the main road, there are no other downsides.

I bought the Mangrove Island + Mangrove Forest package; you absolutely must buy the package, otherwise going to the mangrove forest alone is too much of a hassle, requiring a 1.5-hour drive each way. The overall itinerary was well-organized, with door-to-door pick-up and drop-off. Mangrove Island is beautiful and worth a visit. I didn't see any proboscis monkeys at the mangrove forest, but there were many fireflies, and the guide was engaging, making for a pleasant experience.


