We had an excellent experience, a marvelous day in the back waters on a Ship without Moto and without Sail, chest, driven by two men. Calamity and serenity of this 4 +1 hour boat trips, including Spectacular views Of this tropical countryside will last in our memory as an extraordinary Indian experience in Kerala. Our driver Foris was very reliable and highly responsible and smoothly driving the overall 2 1/2 hours itinerary in an always completely chaotic traffic environment. Outstanding! Our tour guide Sarcha was due to his local roots very competent and knowledgable and the whole time supportive and caring. He created 5 stopovers with interesting people, typical vegetarian food, tasting spices and chai. We loved it! ★

A trip to this part of India without a visit to the backwaters would be incomplete. My driver Shaneer showed up early to pick me up, which was highly appreciated. His auto is extremely comfortable which made for an enjoyable ride to the Alleppey boat jetty. Shaneer’s mastery of English made the long ride educational and fun. When we arrived at the jetty the boat diver, Manu was waiting. I was happy i booked the canoe boat because this allowed us to go into some of the smaller canals which are more interesting then the larger ones. Manu told me about like in his village, about the rice farming and other interesting points along the way. I highly recommend both Scanner and Manu for this trip if they are available. I would like to come back in the future and do the ride just before sunset, I think the would make for beautiful lighting for photography. ★

We had a wonderful time exploring the backwaters! The five of us were accompanied by the option guide Tommy who shared a ton a great information on our 2 hour drive to the water. The driver Bibin was superb at navigating the busy streets safely and pointed out some sights as well. The three man crew on the boat were all friendly and took great care of us.
The lunch included much tasty local cuisine!★

We travelled to Munnar from Kochi with our wonderful host Shajahan. He arrived on time and was fully accommodating of us throughout the trip with great view point stops and interesting facts along the way. The content of this trip was terrific and concluded with the interesting tour of the Lockhart Tea factory. We highly recommend this excursion and Shajahan as a host for any of your plans in the area
