A very beautiful and varied day: a castle, a loch, a distillery, with the cherry on top being a beautiful sunny day for the walk along Loch Lomond. Our guide was perfect. It's a shame that in addition to the already relatively high price, we had to add the price of entrance tickets to the castle and the distillery, which makes a tidy total of approximately 150 euros for the day.

The tour was fantastic. It was my first distillery tour and had the experience with my older brother who turns 50 this December. He was already a whiskey fan and I became one once the tour had finished!… and who thought chocolate could be matched with it too! The tour guide was very welcoming and pleasant, very knowledgeable of the process (obviously) but very open to questions and interaction. I would recommend the tour to anyone visiting the area and wanting to get out of the city for a day. If anyone reads this and is happy to gift me my preferred bottle of choice (21+ years), then I can provide a delivery address accordingly 🤣😂

We went with Rabbies from Edinburgh to the Glengoyne Distillery and the Deanston Distillery. We had a fantastic day. Craig, our guide for the day, brilliantly connected the trips with his jokes and also knowledge about the areas. Halfway through the day, a spot was reserved for lunch, a beautiful location with a lovely environment. It was very interesting to see how the distilleries differed from each other; you could notice it in everything. For us, it was a bit pricey, but to be brief: it was more than worth the money. Definitely a recommendation!


