Reviews: Khasab Musandam Half Day Dhow Cruise

During our recent trip to Musandam, among a flood of options for the Half-day Dhow cruise, we opted for the one by Dolphin Khasab Tours, based on the reviews we had read. This was one of the best decisions we took.
I booked the tour only the previous evening, but the tour company was very helpful in arranging pick up and drop to and from our hotel and in answering our queries. On the morning of the cruise, we were picked up on time and taken to the port, from where we boarded the dhow. The dhow had 2 levels and was surprisingly for us, not too crowded, so we had plenty of space and travelled in comfort.
We started for the Fjords and passed some beautiful rock faces and came across some hidden beaches, accessible only by sea. The highlight of the cruise were the beautiful dolphins, whom we got to see from two different points. It was surreal, watching them swim next to our boat. We then, passed through some old, isolated villages till we arrived at the Telegraph Island.
The water here was crystal clear, with colorful fish all around us. Most people in our dhow had a swim, but we missed out this time. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and offered us a selection of fruits, coffee, juice and drinks to keep us hydrated during the trip. The facilities for shower, swimming etc were top notch. After a wonderful time at sea, we made the return journey taking in the sights of the fjords again.
We had a wonderful experience with Dolphin Khasab Tours and will love to avail of their services again next time we are in Musandam.★

The most memorable experience of the entire UAE trip. Hotel pick-up, in addition to a domestic sister, there are two French and Czech girls, everyone is very happy, the customs are very smooth, arrived at Haiseb was received by the handsome Egyptian tour guide on the boat, the whole road is very detailed, lunch is also very delicious, There was also always a free iced drink and iced water supply, and the captain and crew were locals who had been asking if they needed hot tea or coffee, as well as fruit and fresh dates. Most importantly we saw the turtles and many dolphins, the viewing angle has been perfect, the captain is very experienced, just so lucky! At the same time, I also went into the water twice. The first time I opened a fjord with many colorful small fishes. I went swimming with the small fish. The second time I opened to the sea urchin field. The water depth was about 5-8m. If you have freestyle experience, you can go directly to fish, but you can't eat o. The tour guide said that this is a protected area. But you can get up and feel the sea urchin that is alive and squirming! It is really recommended, more worry-free than chartering a car, the service staff are very professional and enthusiastic throughout the whole process, and I even want to go to Oman alone in the future, take my family to play this trip again, highly recommended!Payment Methods
