Harish is a fantastic guide. He took us through an excellent walk inside the Jaisalmer Fort pointing out noteworthy sites and providing the right amount of information to make the walk interesting. Harish also knows the best places inside the fort where you can take a short break, use a restroom or sip on a drink while you refresh yourself. He took us to the intricately carved Jain temples, the wonderful havelis as well as Bada Bagh to see the cenotaphs amazingly lit up in the rays of the setting sun. Harish is fluent in English, articulate and knowledgeable and we had a wonderful day exploring Jaisalmer with him. An added benefit with Harish, is that he is an excellent photographer and he took some great snaps capturing the memories from this trip which we would always cherish.★

We spent 3 days in Jaisalmer this February with Lalu. I had read a few reviews on Lalu and other tour operators during the planning stages. I have to admit that all the reviews on Lalu are spot on. He is incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful going over and beyond his role. He is Mr Jaisalmer. The whole town knows him. He has incredible connections throughout the town and can facilitate any request from a tourist. We learnt a lot about the history and culture of Jaisalmer and he helped connect the dots regarding the Silk Road. He is fluent in English and he is locally known as Lalu German. In addition he is very generous and reliable. If one is looking to visit Jaisalmer, one does not have to do much research. Hand yourselves to Lalu and you can trust him to take you on a very enriching experience. When we arrived in Jaisalmer we met Lalu the guide but now we have a dear friend who we would highly recommend★

Jaisalmer is a beautiful place. I took help from DIH for a day tour of the Golden city along with a guide. Mr. Sharma assisted me through the tour. We been to Jaisalmer Fort, Patwo ki haweli, Kuldhara, local market etc. They arranged transport as well as necessary permits. The guide was quite knowledgeable, patient and kind. I had a great experience taking this tour with DIH. I also further took their assistance to get my accommodation and adventure sport services in Sam desert. The stay was comfortable, hygienic with great food. I will surely take their services for my Udaipur and Jodhpur trip as they specialise in Rajasthan tours.
