Jaisalmer is a beautiful place. I took help from DIH for a day tour of the Golden city along with a guide. Mr. Sharma assisted me through the tour. We been to Jaisalmer Fort, Patwo ki haweli, Kuldhara, local market etc. They arranged transport as well as necessary permits. The guide was quite knowledgeable, patient and kind. I had a great experience taking this tour with DIH. I also further took their assistance to get my accommodation and adventure sport services in Sam desert. The stay was comfortable, hygienic with great food. I will surely take their services for my Udaipur and Jodhpur trip as they specialise in Rajasthan tours.★

We had an amazing camel safari with Adventure Travel Agency! Vikrum runs a great service, even picking us up from the bus station and letting us use good shower facilities before and after which was greatly appreciated after a night bus arriving in Jaisalmer and after a night in the desert, it made the whole experience more comfortable! We were taken into the desert by Salim and Taga Ram who looked after us for the night and cooked us some great food! The beds were very comfy and laying looking at the stars was just amazing! We were taken to an area further out away from the wind turbines and desert camps you see around Jaisalmer, all we could see was nature. It was very peaceful! We would highly recommend this company if you are looking for a camel safari!★

My family and I did the overnight tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The oasis and fort on the way to the dunes were beautiful and the whole trip was well planned. Our guides really made us feel at home at the camp and comfortable with the camels, which were well cared for (which was a concern to us) and not confined during the night. The meals were lovely and watching the sunset with the group was certainly a highlight- the atmosphere was great. The guides ensured we had a good nights sleep, however one bed was slightly broken.★

Reviews: Pleasant Sunset Safari With Dinner On Dunes (From 2:00 PM to Approx. 10:00 PM)

Me and my partner did this sunset safari with Pleasant Haveli and highly highly recommend! We were able to enjoy the same experience as the overnight safari but were still able to come back to the hotel at night and sleep and shower. They let us choose whichever time we would like to leave the desert so there wasn’t any pressure to rush off, despite the fairly long drive back to Pleasant Haveli. Our guides were fantastic (I’m so sorry but I’ve totally forgotten their names as we did this about a month ago!) and we laughed, joked, sung and ate with them. They were so friendly and accommodating and just genuinely want to make sure you are enjoying your time. The camels seem well cared-for, the dinner was delicious and the view of the stars at around 9pm was absolutely beautiful! They made sure they took us to a proper sand dune (sometimes the dunes other companies take you to aren’t so great) and the sunset views were breathtaking.
Only thing I would suggest to people booking this is that you bring some tip money. A young child came with us to take the camels back once we had got to the dunes (you take camels into desert and jeep back out), we only brought a small amount of money with us and he held his hand out asking for tip before he left so it’s clear it was expected. We then had no money left to tip the tour guides which was a shame, so bring some change, it’s worth the tip!
Out of 1 month spent travelling India this was the best thing we experienced and I could not recommend it enough.★
