Excellent trip. Our guide Pinar was the best. So friendly and knowledgeable informative. She was brilliant with our kids aged 5 and 7. We saw all the sights we wanted to see and they tailor made our trip to suit our needs. We also went to a Turkish Delight shop to sample (and buy) some yummy treats!

This is one of the most amazing places I’ve been in my life. Going with a tour guide makes it even better. I’ve never been to such will preserved ruins and to have a person to ask questions to, while you’re visiting allows a deeper experience. We had 2 hours to visit Ephesus which was much better than the 1 hour you apparently get from a cruise ship. We also visited the temple of Aphrodite and a leather factory.

The tour was worth booking. Alpen - one of the best I've met so far, made the experience more interesting, we didn't even notice the time passing by. I really appreciated that Alpen is very well versed with the history of the country / place because it's our first time and we needed to know. December was not a peak season so we had more time to linger on spots especially in Ephesus where every single area seems to have a story of its own and the house of Mary and the curious Mosaic. My sister enjoyed the trip to the art shop being an artist herself and the cute cats all over the old city of Ephesus added to the charm of the place.


