The dive: 10/10 would do again anytime. The spots are really good and the team is super chill and fun.
The equipment: 7/10. A tad rusty but everything worked as expected during my 4 45 min dives.
The boat: nothing fancy, works. 8/10.
Food: better than expected. 9/10.
The pick up service: a strong 3/10. First time they came to another hotel and second time 30 min late. Hated it.★

This Giftun Island trip exceeded my expectations! We were picked up from the hotel right on time and taken to the boat. The snorkeling spots were incredible, and we even saw some dolphins swimming near the boat! After exploring the underwater world, we had a tasty buffet lunch onboard. The island itself was paradise – soft sands and calm waves. Highly recommend this tour!★

We booked several excursions with Book Tour Egypt (Hula Hula Island, Marsa Alam for the turtles, and Luxor) and they were great every time. For Hula Hula Island, the boat crew set the mood and were super cool. At Luxor, the people who drove our van and the guide who gave us the tour were great. But our biggest disappointment was the person who took us to Marsa Alam. He was so kind and there for us all day.
I recommend them 100%, always on time and with no waiting. I contacted them on WhatsApp and they responded very quickly to my request. It is possible to pay in Egyptian pounds or euros.
Thanks to Book Tour Egypt, we came back with magnificent images in our heads.★

If you want to avoid big boats and have a less long personalized trip (4h) you are in the right place! We reserved the excursion the evening to 21:00 and we were contacted directly by message with the indications and the timetable we wanted (departure 8:00 or 12:00).
A taxi/uber will come to your hotel to take you to the quay or the boat is waiting for you. Our companion Jan spoke very well English and was listening to us throughout the trip. The boat captain was also very good driver and provided us with all the snorkeling equipment without overcooking (in addition to let us drive his boat offshore for 15 minutes) !
Concerning the excursion: we have made the journey up to Orange Bay in 20 minutes (very nice but many tourists at the arrival + prevey liquid for the payments of drinks or other car no carte bacaire accepted) and we stayed About 1:45 on site - we then asked to replace a snorkelling outlet by a boat torn to try to see dophins and thanks to the captain we could follow a group of 7 delphins for 10-15 min - we then realized a Snorkeling stop for 20 to 30 minutes before returning to the point of departure with a 20min journey during which we could benefit from our foreseen collage in the price.

A very beatifull trip and experience going snorkeling and a visit to the famous and gorgeus Orange Bay.
The crew and our guides were exceptionally friendly and helpfull.
Also a photograph took lot of private photos.
Can only recommend ❤️
