I tried an eSIM card for the first time and was amazed at how easy it was to get one. I specifically bought the extended country package because I was on a Persian Gulf cruise. I had no issues anywhere, and the connection was excellent everywhere. I had plenty of data and speed. I'm sure I'll always take an eSIM card with me when I travel, and I'll probably get one from trip.com, because first impressions last forever :)

Installing the eSIM was very easy with the QR and instructions provided. I had no problem with internet access since I was on an umrah trip and wasn’t out and about much but when I was, I used mostly WhatsApp to communicate (messaging and calls) or just to search for information.

The e-SIM worked fine, except for the three hours of Maya outage from December 31st to January 1st, 2026. Otherwise, the connection was fine, including calls. I was traveling to Goa.
