The locations themselves may be a bit tricky to choose, but you can definitely get some great photos. You just need to get there at the right time of year and the weather. If you're unlucky, there's a good chance you'll get a photo against fog or clouds instead of Mount Fuji.
I wasn't so lucky: there were still scattered clouds in the morning, but by lunchtime everything was covered in fog—even Mount Fuji-Q was barely visible.★

The tour was great. It was only 4 people and the driver was very nice. We didn’t see the mountain as it was cloudy, but we were taken to all the amazing places you could potentially see it. Worth the money, as you don’t have to wait for 50+ people from a bus tour!★

The itinerary was very well-planned, and since it was booked at the last minute, I was worried about finding a spot. The day trip was very convenient; I didn't need to transfer public transportation myself, and we just met at the Marunouchi North Exit of Tokyo Station. Fortunately, Mount Fuji cooperated perfectly that day.★
