Reviews: Classic Tequila Route Tour from Guadalajara and a few drinks at El Güero!!!

We honestly can't recommend this tour enough, it was an amazing day. First we went to the agave fields, then to a distillery where we got to try lots of different tequilas and see how it's made. We went to Tequila town for lunch, and on to El Guero for music and more tequila! it was so much fun from start to finish. Cristian the tour guide was the best, such a nice guy, really knowledge and passionate about tequila and the local culture, and he made sure everyone had a great time. Thanks to Julio the driver too, such a nice guy and didn't mind that things were getting loud and lively in the bus after we had all tried lots of tequila!! 😅 We were in a lovely group of 8 people and we all made friends quickly, and this tour is great for people who want to drink as much or as little as they like, there's no pressure. If you're in Guadalajara and have a day to spare you should definitely do this trip, it was an unforgettable experience and so much fun. Gracias Cristian & Julio!★

What an excellent way to spend a day if you are in Guadalajara. Jose, our tour guide picked me up from the hotel at the said time and after picking up other tourists we were on our way. Jose went out of the way to accommodate me since I was the only non spanish speaking person on the tour. Never felt for a moment that I was being ignored.
The trip started with a visit to one of the local tequila factories and since it was not that busy we got a great tour, got to know all about tequila, tasted some awesome samples and were on our way to the town of Tequila.
What an amazing place. The tour of Jose Cuervo factory was really good as well. Samples were abundant, tried some stuff that is either not available where I am or stuff that I would not think of buying. Overall great experience. Would definitely recommend.
