I signed up for two experiences with Make It Happen in Goa—and both ended up being five-star memories, thanks to one incredible guide: Vimala.
First was the Old Goa Heritage Walk, where Vimala (also an ex-special educator—how cool is that?) brought centuries of history to life with her calm presence, deep knowledge, and beautiful storytelling. We even paused mid-walk for a coconut water break that felt straight out of a postcard. I left knowing about St. Catherine and her powerful life journey — stories I may never have encountered otherwise.
Then came the Feni & Tapas Food Trail, a walk that tasted as good as it sounded. From sips of local feni to bites of Goan tapas, Vimala guided me with the same grace, patience, and sparkle in her eye. She has this quiet superpower of making you feel like you belong in the stories she shares.
If you're in Goa and want to meet its heart—not just see the sights—Make It Happen (with Vimala, if you're lucky) is the way to go.★

Caesar (tour guide) and Shivam (driver) were amazing! They picked us up and showed us all the Goan delights. Caesar has a wealth of knowledge when it came to the churches and temples and also gave me a little time off to get some shopping done. My partner's mother is Goan and Caesar kindly made a detour to show us around that area. The Spice Plantation is a very interesting stop too; Caesar and Pooja gave us the VIP treatment and the lunch was very tasty!
Highly recommended tour to get an overview of Goa!★

Excellent tour. Excellent guide. He was very frank and open about life in Goa. It was very interesting. We enjoyed his commentary and the ensuing discussions. Goa's history is fascinating. The walk through the old residential area was especially interesting.★

Rachana was a wonderful storyteller, engaging and full of interesting information! The walk was colourful and intriguing we learned a lot! It was varied and fun with little stops along the way for sweets, music and art. A wholly enjoyable experience. And we appreciated the sustainable souvenirs at the end. Make it Happen are doing great local work.★
