It's expensive, but worth every euro. You feel safe.
You get up quickly, just a 10-minute cable car ride.

We loved the experience of the cable car, peak walk and walking over some of what remains of the glacier. Our tour guide Roger also offered great insights into Switzerland and the Swiss way of life through his abundance of knowledge and surprised us with a taste of Swiss wine & nibbles once we got off the cable car at the top of the mountain! We liked that we had a good amount of time there and not too rushed…however we were disappointed to learn from him only on the drive back that more snow could have been found had we walked further across and around a mountainous area of the glacier as we would have loved to have experienced this and also would have chosen to do the glacier walk first had Roger not encouraged us all to go to the top of the mountain first…so that was a bit disappointing especially as the tour had been about the Glacier!★

We had a great day going up glacier 3000. Cable car, chair lift, glacier walk, toboggan run and walking across bridge was excellent. Our guide Normunds was brilliant. Would highly recommend.
