I'm so glad we drove here so we could take our time taking in all the scenic areas. We got pictures with the sheep and the castle in the background. The closer you drive there the prettier it gets and the walk to the castle is worth it. Saw pretty birds. It's all worth the trip. I'm glad we booked a walking tour, it was worth it hearing all the stories and if it weren't for the guide we wouldn't have seen hardly anything. Quite the experience. And we got ice cream on our way back down and the price wasn't sky high like some reviews said. While walking to the castle we noticed lots of kids walking in the clay area and sinking, like it was a big local thing. There's so much to say about this place and to think we were debating on coming here thinking it was overrated. I'm very glad we went.

I arrived at the meeting place at 6:45, and there were so many people waiting that I didn't get lost. The bus has seats with USB ports and seats without. The 4.5 hours went by quickly and wasn't as painful as I had imagined. We stopped at a large roadside rest area along the way, so we were able to have breakfast and use the restroom there. The meeting time was announced repeatedly, and they even told us in Japanese that we would be taking the Mont Saint-Michel shuttle bus at 3:30 PM. Overall, it was a comfortable experience.★

Punctual departure, well-planned schedule, smooth and comfortable journey. This type of day tour doesn't necessarily require a Chinese-speaking team, as there's very little to explain. If you can compare prices, an English-speaking team is cheaper than a Chinese-speaking team, so you can choose this option without hesitation, and you won't have to worry about tipping.★
