Although there aren't many Chinese tourists in Armenia, I highly recommend that tourists avoid hiring a private car and instead book a local tour. While you can try to find a tour on-site, Armenians' English isn't generally very good, and you're likely to be overcharged. The day before booking this tour, I inquired at several tours to Lake Sevan, and they all quoted high prices for foreigners. In the end, I just took a taxi. You can also contact a driver to hire a car for the day, which is cheaper. Back to this tour, since it was mostly foreigners, the tour guide spoke excellent English, providing explanations at each attraction in English. They also included a pancake-making activity. The only extra cost is that they'll ask you to pre-order lunch on the bus, but it's not expensive, so I recommend booking it.

An amazing tour! Beautiful places with a rich history, magnificent nature, and the wonderful spirit and charisma of our guide, Anastasia, made our day. We also thank our driver, Edgar, for a comfortable ride between the sights.

I booked the trip with a small group in mind. Instead of the stated "no more than 15 people," we ended up with 50 tourists. With all the ensuing consequences.
