We went with our young adult son and his partner, a few days into our stay in Madeira. It is impossible to see the island well without private transport, and the roads really need an experienced driver and specialty vehicle, so this trip gave us both .
The jeep tour was a fun and great way to many of the beautiful spots on the island. We were a little unlucky with the weather so it was not to warm enough to swim at the volcanic pools( though a couple of enthusiasts did)
Our driver was enthusiastic and informative, we stayed long enough to get a taste of each place and get some great photos. The lunch spot at the end was quirky but the food was very good and good value. Overall a highly enjoyable trip, would recommend★

Our guide/driver was Dany, the natural Madeira, very careful with all and familiar with the island.
First stop in Ponta do Sol (the name describes perfectly the light of the place), we follow to Fanal (it is just a lovely forest, it seems that we entered in a film .... where we heard the rain falling from the trees), we follow to Ribeira da Janela (in addition to the dance and landscape ...n is q in a rock formation appear mmo the genre of a window currently with the shape of the African continent 🤔), we follow to the volcanic pools of Porto Moniz (for all! ...it was to dress the bikini and give some divings ...e yes is February and the water was great), then Seixal (black sandy beach, tbm frequented by surfers), in the trip we could observe extraordinary cascades, and finished in Cape Girão, with its famous skywalk (Amazing).....ps...p who likes to know local products we observed various local cultures with bananas and sugar cane ...e a fruit called "wives' console" I don't know well pk the locals gave you that name ?? 🤭 (see photos)★

Who ever said 70+ people can do this are lying unless they are super super fit. Expect to climb a lot of stairs. It was a great experience over all. You can definitely see how far your limit is with this hike. Would recommend.★

Awesome tour of the West Side of Madeira. Luis our tour guide was a great driver and provided superb information about this side of Madeira. Unfortunately we didn't get to properly have a look at the Fanal Forest as visibility was really poor but it was still mysterious going through that location. Overall the weather was like a fruit salad but that made the trip even more interesting. Superb tour and 100% value for money. Obrigado!★

We had Luis as our guide and driver , came on time and made us feel like we are in good hands , his knowledge is huge ; I learned a lot about the island and it history out of him .. He even was kind enough to give me his jacket ( forgot to bring my own ) .. during the trip we met other guides and they all seems to be genuine people . Professionalism at it peack . Nicely planed trip with enough time at each place . Highly recommended. Thank you Luis Castro .
