The weather was great when we went to Itoshima. Although it was hot, the sea was really blue... I didn't even need to edit the picture. The white torii gate and the blue sea perfectly matched my concept of Japan. It felt like something out of a Japanese anime... Our tour guide Xiaodong was very responsible and took good care of us along the way. I was very satisfied!★

Guide Yume transformed our visit into a living legend! She led us along the gorge's misty trails, narrating the Amaterasu myth as we crossed the Manai Bridge. At the sacred waterfall, she arranged a private shinto purification ritual with a local priest—we even got to wear traditional happi coats.
