Reviews: From Edinburgh: Loch Ness, Glencoe & The Highlands Day Trip

A fantastic trip with a wonderful guide! Keith not only told us about the history of Scotland (including the brutal part), but also about the legends and myths, animals, and interesting facts about the region. The views of the Highlands are literally breathtaking! You can feel the power of nature, the wilderness—everything that makes you want to get closer to nature and away from the city and the hustle and bustle of humanity.

The bus was very uncomfortable, the seats were very small. The guide talked too much!

Great value for the money—we saw so many incredible places in one day. Our guide was excellent and kept us entertained the entire time with good stories, interesting information, and even great music along the way. He went above and beyond, including showing us two different views of the bridges, which was a nice bonus. Everyone in our group had a different favorite stop. One person loved the Kelpies, two said Stirling Castle, and my personal favorite was Loch Lomond. The only real downside was the cold. We knew going in January that it would be cold and that's out of anyone's control. But we were disappointed we didn't get to see the Highland coos because the road was not drivable. However, the snow was beautiful and turned a cold January day into a magical winter wonderland. We even had a snowball fight and built little snowmen, which made the day extra fun and memorable. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended if you’re prepared for winter weather.
