This experience was phenomenal! The night was perfect thanks to the guides knowing where to take us for the best viewing. The beverages were great and the sausage was good. They really put a lot of effort into making the night be special, and I can say it really was! I highly recommend this tour!★

Elijah was a fantastic tour guide. He was very personable and shared a lot about the places we saw, Fairbanks and his experience living in the area. We saw some very nice museums and went to visit Santa at North Pole, AK. It was a very fun day!★

We had done a lot of research for our Alaskan holiday and Rods guide service repeatedly came up and with good reviews.
We drove out to Rods and checked in for our tour.
The team kitted us out withe good cold weather gear they have.
We then waited for our tour time to arrive and we were paired up with our dog musher who took us out to the dog team.
We got to quickly meet the team and then got on the sled.
Rods hire local people with there teams of dogs to do the tours.
We got on and we were off.
You go out halfway and stop, meet the dogs and get to pat them and have photos, then its back on the sled and back to base.
It was a really good hour and we loved the experience.
It was just a shame we couldn't get onto a longer tour but we had fun anyway.
I would highly recommend it.★

Our tour guide, Tony, is the best! We are 6 in the group, and I'm pretty sure Tony remembers us.LOL He made our experience unforgettable by taking his time to prepare us before we headed out. He explained everything clearly and even summarized it towards the end. Tony ensured our safety and consistently checked on us. Moreover, he took lots of photos and exhibited superb knowledge of the tour, coupled with a great sense of humor!★

Excellent guide, Ash was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable! Wonderful yurt viewing area heated with indoor restrooms. Chef Joe was amazing with the food offered. Both owners were very down to earth and genuine. Overall experience was superb! With seeing the northern lights as an amazing bonus!!
