My daughter surprised me with this completely fun and joyful learning (and eating) experience. From the moment we walked into Nell's place there was no doubt this was going to be special. We sipped a Dutch Courage beverage (Nell can tell you all about it) as we enjoyed Scottish cheddar oatcakes (yum). We prepared foods including a heartly and delicious Cullen Skink soup (for those in the US, skink is not what you think) and we enjoyed a serving of haggis, neeps and tatties, beautifully displayed with an added whiskey sauce that just went brilliantly with the dish. And, the favorite of mine... we made Scottish Shortbread. My fears subsided at the first bite of the delightful treat Nell helped us make. Since returning to the states, I have made two batches of this fabulous, traditional "cookie" because Nell provides the recipes for everything you make! The experience alone is tremendous, and Nell is a big part of the reason why. Try it. You will be glad! ENJOY!Trip.com picks
