You can install it directly to your phone in the Trip app, but it is 24 hours since IOS is installed and automatically activated. However, Japanese Wi-Fi is everywhere and I am not worried about this problem. The time and traffic are also very sufficient. I bought it for 1 day.★

Used in Singapore and Sri Lanka, there was no problem with the connection status. It didn't work well when activating, but wechat support was available in Japanese and I was able to solve it safely.★

Decent enough in a pinch and had pretty good coverage from Cairo down to Aswan. Although a local sim would be cheaper if you were staying longer than a week this is still more convenient★

Good but they provide you with limited data options. In my opinion, at least 1 GB per day should be provided and sadly you can't get this option if you're traveling for 7 days. The reception was surprisingly good and we travelled to remote locations in Egypt.
